Short Description
Our Vitamin C Serum Intensive with 10% Vitamin C in stabilised form (3-O Ethyl Ascorbic Acid) is perfect for those who already have experience with the active ingredient Vitamin C. It reduces pigmentation spots and pimples and prevents skin ageing. It reduces pigmentation spots and pimple marks, prevents light-induced skin ageing and ensures radiant, smooth skin.
With 10% ethyl ascorbic acid, the Vitamin C Intensive Serum is particularly suitable for lightening pigmentation spots and pimple marks. Mature skin is particularly pleased with the strong well-aging effect of the serum. With ethyl ascorbic acid, we use a stabilised form of pure Vitamin C, as pure L-ascorbic acid is very unstable. This means that it oxidises quickly and thus loses its effect. In addition, pure ascorbic acid is only effective in a very low and acidic pH range, which can cause irritation in sensitive skin. Ethyl ascorbic acid, on the other hand, has a longer shelf life, is also effective in the less acidic pH range of our skin and is therefore more compatible for your skin. Due to its water-loving and fat-loving properties, it can be better absorbed by the skin. Ethyl ascorbic acid gradually lightens skin discolouration and protects the skin as a powerful antioxidant against free radicals and oxidative stress. It stimulates collagen production, smoothing fine lines and wrinkles. The extract of liquorice root from controlled organic cultivation has an anti-inflammatory effect and is also strongly antioxidant and brightening. The amino acid arginine PCA helps the skin to retain moisture and strengthens the skin barrier through pyrrolidone carboxylic acid (PCA).
WHICH VITAMIN C INTENSITY IS RIGHT FOR YOU?
For the Vitamin C Serum Intensive, you should already have some experience with the active ingredient - then it is your perfect new face serum. If you sometimes wish for even more active ingredient power, you can even supplement the Intensive Serum with our Vitamin C Ampoules with 15% pure Vitamin C on 1-2 evenings per week.
If you have little or no experience with active ingredients or have sensitive skin, we recommend the mild Vitamin C Sensitive Serum.
Notes
As this product makes the skin more sensitive to light, we strongly recommend that you wear sunscreen during the day. We do not recommend using this product during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
